The Beauce–Northeast
freight connection.
Incorporated federally on November 28, 1983, LES TRANSPORTS JEAN-FRANÇAIS INC. has operated for over 40 years on transport corridors between Chaudière-Appalaches and the northeastern United States. What started as a regional operation grew into a mid-size carrier with 50 tractors and 115 trailers.
The Beauce is a manufacturing region. Sawmills, foundries, food processing plants — products from the MRC Robert-Cliche need to reach markets in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. TJF has been the logistics link on this corridor since the early 1980s.
Under the direction of Jean-Guy Fluet, owner, TJF maintains a Satisfactory safety rating with the FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) — the benchmark for carriers operating in the United States. Director Jimmy Carrier, based in Skowhegan, Maine, manages US-side operations — a direct competitive advantage on cross-border lanes.
TJF is not a freight broker. It's an asset-based carrier: every tractor and trailer belongs to the fleet. That translates to real control over timing, traceability and customs compliance.
